Two Minutes to Ground and Connect

Heart Centering Practice

Find a comfortable seat with your spine upright (you could be crosslegged, on a chair, in the drivers seat of your car…parked of course)

Close your eyes and place your left hand over your heart and your right hand over your left

Feel the rhythm of your heartbeat(this may take a few moments)

Feel your chest rise and fall with breath

Notice that there is a pause at the top of the inhale

Let that pause linger, and feel your heartbeat in that space

After your exhale, notice the pause at the bottom of the exhale and let it linger feeling heartbeat

Repeat five or more times

This Heart centering practice reminds us that we are here NOW and only now, guided always by the rhythm and motion of our heart and breath. We are connected. We are nature.
